Rev Dr Chia Beng Hock has served with Bethel Assembly of God since March 1982, including 22 years as its Senior Pastor before retiring. He is now the church’s Pastor Emeritus. He was also the Founding Chairman of Bethel Community Services, serving from 2004 to 2025.
He currently serves as the Treasurer of The Alliance of the Pentecostal and Charismatic Churches of Singapore (APCCS), President of Teen Challenge Singapore, Emeritus Board Member of The Bible Society of Singapore, Board Member of Tung Ling Bible School, and Vice Chairman of the MacPherson Inter-Racial & Religious Harmony Circle (HC).
He holds a Doctor of Ministry and a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies from Asia Pacific Theological Seminary (APTS), as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Theology (Ministry) from the University of Wales.
He is also a Certified Behavioral Consultant (DISC). He has been happily married to his wife, May, since 1977. They have two sons and two grandchildren, and both are Certified Prepare/Enrich Facilitators.
