The Assemblies of God supports the Alliance for Action, commits to strengthening marriages and family relationships
There is a saying that goes “it takes a village to raise a child”. Similarly, the efforts to building strong resilient families and communities in Singapore will require active partnerships. The launch of the Alliance for Action (AfA) to strengthen marriages and family relationships is a timely and much needed support for the people in our nation.
The Assemblies of God churches applaud the efforts of The Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) and stand ready to support and contribute to this alliance in strengthening marriages and family within the community of the church.
Within our community of faith, we are committed to intentionally build strong marriages and families. The church will continue to be a support system for families in need – providing guidance for couples and parents, and grounded influence for children and youths based on biblical principles and values.
The pandemic has brought many strained relationships and families to light. We believe no one needs to walk alone in this journey of finding hope and restoration. The church will always be available as a listening ear and a source of help for those in need.
